Féilte 2021

FÉILTE is the Teaching Council's annual Festival of Education In Learning and Teaching Excellence. It's a celebration of teaching and learning and gives teachers the opportunity to collaborate and share their work with each other and with the wider public.
FÉILTE is ultimately about you showcasing your profession to the wider public. It is a great opportunity to engage with colleagues, and participate in wellbeing activities, whilst also benefitting from professional development. Attendance at FÉILTE may, at your principal’s discretion, be used towards your Croke Park hours.
This year our festival theme is Transforming Teaching in a Sustainable World.
We are delighted to have Roddy Doyle, former teacher, co-founder of the Fighting Words charity, and author of 12 novels as the opening keynote speaker for this year’s FÉILTE. He has written for TV, big screen and stage. He has also written seven books for children, including The Giggler Treatment and Brilliant.
After the enormous success of last year FÉILTE will take place online again and it promises to be bigger and more interactive than ever. We have a packed programme full of live and interactive content as well as live connectivity with speakers, participants and fellow attendees.
