Principals & Deputy Principals Support Group - Gort Area

We would like to invite Principals and Deputy Principals with a view to forming a sustained Support Group within the Gort area.

 

Topics for discussion will include current issues, school planning and policy development, shared problem solving and sharing of  ideas, professional dialogue and wellbeing.

 

This will all happen in a collaborative, safe space, which should improve the sustainability of leadership roles in our small schools.

 

The group will be facilitated by Marion Fahey who is currently the CAO of the Gort Small Schools Cluster Project. This is an innovative hands-on project which has been in existence in the Gort area since Sept 2022.  The aim of this project is to improve the sustainability of small schools through networking, sharing of ideas and resources, and sharing the workload of teaching Principals and Deputy Principals. The experience has been very successful to date, and all participants  have really enjoyed the  enhanced support and networking.
